MELIORA (Red Blend) 2019
ad MELIORA is Latin for "towards better things". Hope for a better future and the hard work to create that future have been important for me throughout my life. While enjoying this wine, share your hopes for a better future with someone.
MELIORA is a Rhone style blend (40% Mourvedre, 26% Cinsault, 15% Counoise, 15% Syrah, and 4% Grenache) blend sourced from the Elephant Mountain and Sugarloaf Vineyards within Washington's Rattlesnake Hills AVA as well as the Willow Run vineyard in Washington's Columbia Valley.
Pairs well with any type of meat, grilled, roasted, braised, or stewed. A great accompaniment to tapas and Palella as well as a wide variety of hard and soft cheeses. It has a nice acidity which will pair well with foods and sauces that are a bit richer.

Wine Enthusiast - Editor's Choice - 92 points. Coming in at an uncommonly low alcohol level for a red wine in the state, this is a blend of 40% Mourvedre, 26% Cinsault, 15% Counoise, 15% Syrah, and 4% Grenache. Red fruit, herb, plum, and white pepper aromas lead to pillowy soft, achingly pure fruit flavors. There's a pleasingly tart zing on the finish. It's flat-out delicious, showing lots of delicacy and nuance. SEAN P. SULLIVAN
