AMORE (GSM) 2020
AMORE from the Latin phrase "Amore et melle et felle es fecundissimus" which means "love is rich with honey and venom."
What is more essential to life than love? First loves, true loves, first heartbreak, and soulmates. Where would we be without them? I hope you love this wine and take a minute to reflect on a love in your life.
AMORE is a traditional Rhone style GSM (SMG actually with 63% Syrah, 21% Mourvedre, and 16% Grenache) blend sourced from the Elephant Mountain and Sugarloaf Vineyards within Washington's Rattlesnake Hills AVA.
AMORE pairs well with robust flavors such as fattier cuts of beef and steaks like ribeye. Also goes well with grilled meats and BBQ, mushrooms, roasted chicken, or charcuterie. Also nicely compliments meals that have spices and herbs such as sage, rosemary, and red pepper.

Sean P. Sullivan's Northwest Wine Report - 91 points - Critic’s Choice
Syrah makes up 63% of this blend, with the rest Mourvèdre (21%) and Grenache. The aromas are quiet initially, with notes of barrel spice and cigar box, opening to reveal raspberry, blueberry, and herb. Full-feeling flavors follow, showing richness and levity. It’s tasty.
Washington Wine Report - 93 Points
This blend of 63% Syrah, 21% Mourvedre, and 16% Grenache which is aged in neutral French oak for 22 months. Wild blueberry compote, black plum skin, toasted peppercorn, bacon fat, dusty country road, and purple flowers form the nose and the palate. Perfect levels of acidity combine with the rounded, sweet tannins and the full body to gift a lovely wine that delivers a stunning finish.
