Block 14 - AUDENTES (Syrah) 2020
AUDENTES from the Latin phrase "Audentes fortuna iuvat" which means "fortune favors the bold."
Studying abroad, living in Saudi Arabia, getting married, having children, and starting a winery have all been adventures that I have taken in my life which have profoundly influenced who I am. Taking calculated risks is essential to a well lived life. Why not pop the cork and plan your next adventure?
AUDENTES - Block 14 is 95% Syrah with 5% Viogner co-ferment sourced from the Elephant Mountain Vineyard (Syrah) and Sugarloaf Vineyard (Viogner) within Washington's Rattlesnake Hills AVA. AUDENTES Block 14 was not filtered prior to bottling.
Pairs well with many heartier dishes including BBQ, spareribs, braised beef, grilled meats, lamb, Osso Bucco, sausages, steaks and chops, and hamburgers. Goes nicely with game and mushroom dishes.

Sean P. Sullivan's Northwest Wine Report - 93 points - Critic’s Choice
The aromas erupt from the glass, with notes of fresh herb, black pepper, grape concentrate, and thistle. Focused, rich, pure dark fruit flavors follow. They linger on the spectacularly long finish. The purity is dazzling on an overall outrageously delicious wine.
