AMORE (GSM) 2021
AMORE from the Latin phrase "Amore et melle et felle es fecundissimus" which means "love is rich with honey and venom."
What is more essential to life than love? First loves, true loves, first heartbreak, and soulmates. Where would we be without them? I hope you love this wine and take a minute to reflect on a love in your life.
AMORE is a traditional Rhone style GSM (SMG actually with 63% Syrah, 21% Mourvedre, and 16% Grenache) blend sourced from the Elephant Mountain and Sugarloaf Vineyards within Washington's Rattlesnake Hills AVA.
AMORE pairs well with robust flavors such as fattier cuts of beef and steaks like ribeye. Also goes well with grilled meats and BBQ, mushrooms, roasted chicken, or charcuterie. Also nicely compliments meals that have spices and herbs such as sage, rosemary, and red pepper.

Sean P. Sullivan's Northwest Wine Report - 92 points - Critic’s Choice
This wine is 63% Syrah, 20% Mourvèdre, and 17% Grenache. The aromas are elusive initially. Over time, they open to reveal notes of raspberry, herb, and pepper. Plump-feeling, pleasingly pure, palate-coating red and blue fruit flavors follow. The sumptuous texture provides as much appeal as the flavors, and there is impressive detail. The flavors linger on the finish. It’s straight-up delicious and a terrific value given the level of quality. Decant.
