AUDENTES (Syrah) 2021
AUDENTES from the Latin phrase "Audentes fortuna iuvat" which means "fortune favors the bold."
Studying abroad, living in Saudi Arabia, getting married, having children, and starting a winery have all been adventures that I have taken in my life which have profoundly influenced who I am. Taking calculated risks is essential to a well lived life. Why not pop the cork and plan your next adventure?
AUDENTES is 95% Syrah with a 5% Viogner co-ferment sourced from the Elephant Mountain Vineyard (Syrah) and Sugarloaf Vineyard (Viogner) within Washington's Rattlesnake Hills AVA.
Pairs well with many heartier dishes including BBQ, spareribs, braised beef, grilled meats, lamb, Osso Bucco, sausages, steaks and chops, and hamburgers. Goes nicely with game and mushroom dishes.

Sean P. Sullivan's Northwest Wine Report - 92 points - Critic’s Choice
Co-fermented with 6% Viognier, the aromas are perfumed, with notes of fresh flower, red fruit, and blueberry. A full-boded, achingly pure palate follows. Fresh fruit flavors carry on the finish. It’s all about purity of expression along with the richness of the vintage.
