VERVE (Tinta Cao) 2022
VERVE - "vigor and spirit or enthusiasm." Over my life, I have learned the importance of energy. I am drawn to people who bring a creative and positive energy to what they do, regardless of whether they are making wine, baking sourdough, or working as a crossing guard. If you are going to do something, commit and do it wholeheartedly. Enjoy this bottle with someone who shares one of your passions.
Tinta Cao is a red Portuguese wine varietal grown primarily in the Douro region of Portugal and is one of the five most commoly used grape varietals in the production of Port. VERVE is 100% Tinta Cao. Tinta Cao is rarely used in Washington state, particularly as a 100% varietal in a table wine.
What the heck, why not try something intriguing.

Northwest Wine Report - 88 points
This is a rare bottling of this variety from Washington. Brooding aromas of fresh herb, plum, ember, and spice lead to flavors that are broader around the edges, lighter through the middle. It’s equal parts successful and intriguing.
